Built before 1736 by Anthony Stoddard, the Curtis House opened as an Inn in 1754. Our charming guest rooms boast many lovely antiques. A light self-serve Continental Breakfast is included with your stay while a full service lunch and dinner menu is offered in our main dining room 7 days per week. For more casual fare, our City Hall Pub is sure to please.
Located in the foothills of the beautiful Western Connecticut Berkshires, the Inn is the perfect get-away spot surrounded by rolling hills and gorgeous foliage. Visitors can enjoy nearby swimming, boating, hiking, bicycling and golf amenities, or browse the abundant antique shops, historical attractions and boutiques. Whether you’re looking for a weekend get-away or planning a longer retreat, the Curtis House Inn provides an attractive option no matter your stay.
Main House Accommodations
The main house currently offers fourteen guest rooms. Eight of the rooms have private baths and are equipped with flat screen cable television and air conditioning, while the other six share a common bath yet have a sinkmin each room and include a window fan.
Carriage House Accommodations The Inn’s former carriage house now contains four comfortable rooms which are connected to the main grounds by a picturesque footbridge. All of the rooms are handicap accessible with private baths and are connected by a common lobby – great for family reunions, wedding guests, and other functions where group accommodations are desired!
